About the artist

Born in Tel Aviv, Dganit Blechner studied at the Camera Obscura College of Visual Arts, The Avni  Institute of Arts in Jaffa, and the Ramat-Gan College for the Arts.

Dganit earned her worldwide reputation for her vivid, bright and cheerful palette and extraordinary compositions. Her collection is based on iconic images from films, singers and other figures from the world of the various arts. 

Dganit Blechner has a unique perspective on urban life, expressed in her collages of cities around the world, admired and loved by international art collectors.

Ms. Blechner uses a variety of techniques, and was one of the first artists to integrate video art with traditional means. She prints on various mediums, including transparent fabrics, and creates complex laser-cuts on wood and fabric – all with her personal touch and handwork.

Dganit Blechner’s works can be seen in private collections and galleries all over the world.
